Giving
The Department of Surgery is supported by funds from private philanthropy, government and institutional grants and patient service revenue. While every source of funding is important, private philanthropic support is especially vital to our efforts to realize our mission. Over the years, the generosity of alumni, friends and patients has advanced our vision to become one of the premier academic surgical programs in North America and to educate the next generation of outstanding surgeons.
We invite your philanthropic partnership in helping us achieve our scientific and teaching missions each day. Your commitment could help us advance a promising research study, recruit a talented physician-scientist, develop a new educational program for our learners or purchase a key piece of equipment or technology. Each gift truly makes a difference.
For your convenience, numerous giving opportunities and ways to structure your gift are available, including outright gifts of cash, appreciated assets such as securities or pledges payable over a three- to five-year period. You can make a significant impact on the Department of Surgery while at the same time engaging in sound financial planning. We greatly appreciate your interest and support of our efforts. Thank you.
